A powerful, compact and thoroughly impressive blend of 35% Malbec, 30% Cab Franc, 25% Cab Sauv and 10% Petit Verdot. This masterpiece from Los Chacayes is fermented in small concrete bins and spends 13 months in French (Boutes) oak of 225 and 160 litres, 20% of which is new wood. Very dark and opaque in the glass with bold dark fruit aromas on the nose and very finely balanced tannins in the mouth. The finish offers ripe red fruit notes, touches of coffee and mint and lots of floral complexity.
