Lucky old Las Bodegas to snap up this cracking little Sauvignon from our friends at Angulo Innocenti. Known primarily for their excellent red wines, this is made in relatively small quantities and in a style that we like very much, with driven but balanced natural acidity and lots of vibrancy on the nose. Nice aromas of ripe gooseberry with a subtle touch of apricot, if we had to make a comparison it would be with something like a very good Touraine Sauvignon from a very good vintage rather than anything from the southern hemisphere.
