Stonking stuff from one of the all time great producers of Mendoza. This is the kind of Malbec that created the phenomenon in the first place. Big, fruit driven and voluminous in the mouth with oodles of rich, ripe, soft fruit and fine, sweet tannins. Made from a combination of fruit from Finca Libertad in Cruz de Piedra and Finca La Encerrada in the Uco Valley, the wine spends 6 months in second and third use French oak barrels then 6 months in bottle before release. Great value.
