Clara Benegas Chardonnay 2008

This is simply one of the best Chardonnays we’ve ever tasted from Argentina. It sings with a seam of pure varietal fruit – red apples, pears, coconut – and is the definition of freshness itself. Still very much a New World style with its nod to the exotic flavour spectrum, but being completely unoaked it is extremely clean and tidy; a cracking, sophisticated wine.
